As a startup business owner and prospective tenant at the Oxford Technology Park, I am gravely concerned about the proposed expansion of Campsfield House detention center, which lies immediately next to the Park. I oppose the expansion of Campsfield IRC. The detention and deportation of people who are seeking asylum and refugee affects me. I am a citizen of the country, I have rights and responsibilities. I feel very ashamed that vulnerable frightened people are not treated with kindness and compassion. How can this be happening in what was a civilised country. The horrors of history happened when people did nothing until it was too late.
