Dear planning inspector, I am writing to submit my objection to the proposed expantion of Campsfield House Immigration Detention Centre. I lived in Oxford for 10 years, still have many ties to the area and visit when I can. I have been to Campsfield House and have befriended some refugees who were detained there in inhumane prison coditions for months before having their applications for asylum accepted. The detention centre should be shut down, not expanded. The planned building expansion is also on Green Belt Land, which should be protected from any building work.
