As a nearby resident, I have some safety concerns around the Sevington interchange as a result of the continuing operation of this facility. Lorries occasionally attempt to enter via the staff entrance, which leads to blocking church road with no area to turn. For those residents who live nearby, this is hazardous. On exit from the site, many lorries head towards the m20, dover bound. I have personally had more than 6 near misses on the 10a roundabout in 18 months where lorries change lanes unexpectedly or stop dead on the roundabout itself due to not knowing where to go. As a daily user, I have learned to anticipate this, but there are regular accidents as a result of this. The lane configuration is not signposted early enough to minimise this, or perhaps lorries do not have sufficient distance between exiting the facility and joining the m20 to choose the correct lane and their sat nav workingit out for them. Either way, there are safety improvements that need to be made to minimise collisions and avoid devastating road deaths, which I can foresee. Otherwise, I have no further comments regarding the facility other than a realistic view as to whether this really is achieving the benefits it has set out to achieve
