I'm very concerned for the future of Gosport. I wish to object to phase 2, 600 beds is too much for the infrastructure of Hasal. I've lived in Gosport for 40 years and we're a small naval town with amzing local history. I'm worried that the close residents will be affected by noise, lighting and added traffic pollution. Any resident should be deeply concerned about the added traffic and parking on roads in, out and around our town. As a parent, I'm anxious about the safety of my children. What's in place if a detainee was to escape or be allowed freedom outside the facilities. Gosport has a low police presence as it is, is there a protocol in place, under these circumstances. Yes I'd like to be informed of a hearing if one is scheduled.
