As one of many other residents in the area I have been against this decision from the start. We do not want this kind of place in our small town. What now makes it even worse is the fact that we have all been lied to about the amount of people this establishment will now actually hold. I also do not agree with money being spent on these establishments which we, the tax payers are funding. We have many homeless individuals living on the streets some being military veterans. We are also short of social housing in this area and I feel that these should be prioritised before making sure the many illegal immigrants we are allowing into the country are kept comfortable. These immigrants seem to have more rights than the rest of us. Looking at the problems these centre's have caused in other areas I do not want one in my town which is a very small area.
