My objections are as follows 1) I live quite close to Haslar and building 3 storey buildings could possibly impede on my view over the Solent and Isle of Wight. 2) There a lot of vulnerable residents who worry about their safety for example escaping from the detention centre. 3) Its not right that the Government have imposed this on us without a fair and reasonable debate on how this will impact our town. How safe will we be, can they leave the detention centre and go into town? 4) There is nothing wrong with Haslar as it is. 5) I strongly object to the proposed plans for 3 storey as I don't want to look out my window at a detention centre. Keep it all at ground level as there is plenty of room to expand it. Finally there is a lot of unrest in Gosport and surrounding areas, there have been multiple protest marches.
