I live adjacent to this proposed development and whilst I didnt object strongly to the first phase of accommodating 130 young men I strongly object to the not only increase in people to 600 young men but the significant over development of this facility to three new three storey buildings!! The potential noise and extensive compound lighting will adversely affect the local community disrupting their lives considerably. Where will these young men go when they are released! There is reference to "minor ammendment to the coastal path to accommodate the creation of additional car parking and landscaping and associated site alterations! The existing car parking and land has already been seriously depleted providing dedicated parking for the workforce depriving local resident and tourist use to enjoy the coastal path. this proposed new planning application needs to adhere to standard planning process and public consultation not a fait a complis.
