I am concerned about the size of this proposal and what appears to be a huge over development when other projects have been limited by scale. I can not see this development being in keeping with the existing, generally low-rise coastal architecture as well as its impact on the community There is no precedent for an IRC of this scale in such close proximity to residential area. It will cause a disturbance to traffic, cause parking issues due to the mass of people: staff and visitors. There seems to be no consideration on staff arrivals and departures in what is a predominantly residential area. This will cause a loss of privacy to residents and huge disruption as we have already seen from development and impact on Fort Road. Residents will be impacted by buildings 2.5 times the height of the perimeter fencing. I have serious concerns for air pollution, noise and light pollution, loss of way of life, the effect on physical and mental health, and continued loss of property values as already has been the case along Fort Road. Both local and central government seem totally unconcerned about the tax paying residents of Gosport.
