I fully support the proposed development as it stands at the moment. I understand it is larger than the original proposal with an extra storey, but I do not believe it will change the look of the area substantially. The only concern I have is access to the waterfront in that area and parking for local residents and visitors to the area. The location has been used for a similar purpose in the past, historically being a prison. I know that such buildings are necessary to house failed asylum seekers and people who have served time in prison and await deportation. I am hopeful that the development will bring many much needed jobs to the area. I would be interested in attending a hearing if one is held.
