I feel strongly that I need to oppose this proposal, not because I am a racist spitting bile, but because I do not believe that Gosport - as a town, can take this influx. I believe that, should this proposal go through, it will overtake the town. We are a small community, many of us old or elderly and struggling within the existing framework. It is difficult enough now to get a Doctor appointment and Gosport is, at it's heart a small town with the infrastructure already creaking at the seams. You are going to open the door to an influx of people without the necessary services in place. Also, I don't like the idea of building concrete boxes onto what small areas of natural land upon which wildlife depends. I do not want to attend a hearing as I'm not, now strong enough physically to attend.
