I object to the way this proposed application has been dealt with, it seems to have quite deliberately ignored not only our local planning department at Gosport Borough Council, but also all the local people in this area. Especially those unfortunate enough to live in the immediate area, affecting their every day life, plus all the extra noise, traffic, lighting parking etc. which will all be necessary with the day to day running of such a large detention centre/prison, of some 600 inmates plus the necessary coming and going of staff. Gosport area is trying hard to develop and improve local needs regarding housing and other necessary services and infrastructures which should be prioritised not ignored. I would be interested to attend a hearing if scheduled.
