As a resident of Gosport living very close to this proposed facility I am extremely concerned about the impact that this will have. We do not have the road infrastructure in place to cope with the vast number of extra vehicles that will be going to and from this site. It is difficult enough to get a doctor or hospital appointment in this area so another 600 residents will cause further issues. A development of this kind should always go for approval to the local planning department who understand the are area so I am very confused as to why this is not the case for a massive change to an area that includes a number of heritage buildings and is very close to a conservation area. Gosport has worked hard to encourage people to come to enjoy the wonderful historic buildings in our area and this building will be totally out of keeping with the others in this location. It is my understanding that the documentation and drawings for this are not fully available for public view which is deplorable for a structure of this size.
