This area is a small coastal area in a town that needs to be regenerated. Bringing in 600+ ████████████████ immigrants who may or may not be deported will not bring any prosperity to the area and all it will achieve is reduction in the value of property and fear to the locals. The town is run down and if people are released into the community it will add to issues of homelessness, drug users, etc etc. People are scared to walk in the town as it is without the added concern of the issues that immigration has caused throughout the country ██████████████████████████████████████ Why is so much of the planning redacted? What it is that you are trying to hide? Can you guarantee that every person who arrives at the detention will be made to leave the country? If not where will they go? The town has many veterans living in it, many of whom are unable to find suitable accommodation - why are we investing all this money in foreign criminals and ███████ immigrants when it would be much better spent helping those who have helped us? I know of someone who served his country for 24 years, lost his home through marriage breakdown - he did the right thing by his children and agreed to his ex-wife and son staying in the home he purchased with his gratuity. As a result he has lost everything and been classed as making himself intentionally homeless and is unable to get onto any form of social housing scheme never mind council accommodation. The cost of renting is astronomical but these █████████████████ immigrants are housed, fed and watered whilst a veteran has no home to call his own. It is an absolute disgrace. Use of the immigration centre would have been acceptable but by increasing the number, redacted plans and with no clear detail of how these people will be dealt with particularly if they have not been able to be deported needs to be addressed.
