The key reasons that I object are: Height: the proposal to increase the height to three storeys have assured all that it would be limited to two: three are completely out of character with the area Access: the detention will have to be served by dozens of vehicles each day: staffing, food, rubbish disposal etch; yet it is served by only two narrow congested roads. Originally the staff would have been housed in the purpose built housing adjoining the site but these are now privately owned so staff will have to travel in and out daily. Local Voice: decisions on any planning must involve the people who live in the are and who are impacted directly by the proposal, not those in Whitehall who probably have never visited Alverstoke or Clayhall.
