Having lived in Gosport for over 35 years and for a number of those living within a 5 minute walking distance of Haslar (when it was last open). I can without doubt state that any increase in occupancy numbers will have an extremely detrimental impact on Gosport. Air pollution will increase due to a significant increase in visitors to the area, when the place was previously open the road would be very congested with visitors parking both sides of the road and this impacted the emergency services greatly. Additionally when the laced was last open many of the residents escaped and many were allowed to go out into Gosport town on visit days. I trust this will not happen again! The number of residents in Gosport Borough has increased greatly since the centre was last open, by expanding this place anymore will place unnecessary traffic and stress in local hospitals purely due increased numbers of detainees (as most of the last group of residents would visit the NHS hospitals as the GP and nursing facilities would refer them at every opportunity). ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
