Because of Gosport's location, we effectively have two roads on and off the peninsula which are invariably over-used during most of the working day causing long delays in getting off the peninsula, particularly in the mornings and evenings. An additional 600 people who are allowed to roam free will only add to this problem. In addition, people who know they are going to be deported will not be considerate of local people or local authorities and we will be importing the horrendous disregard for civilised behaviour that we have seen in other similar situations.
