I wish to object in the strongest terms against this proposed development. The site is less than 10 metres away from a number of private homes on the opposite side of the road. Its height, which will reach up to 12 metres, is completely out of keeping with the dwellings in the vicinity. The amount of car parking provided in the plans will be completely inadequate to cope with the anticipated staff and visitor numbers This will significantly impact on the surrounding residential roads, and impede vehicle access to the residential properties. Not only that, but the anticipated noise from staff or inmates arriving or leaving the facility, which can be at any time of the day or night, is completely unacceptable.
