I object to this proposal on the following grounds. Visual detriment & Scale: The introduction of three-storey accommodation blocks creates an overbearing physical presence that harms the local landscape and impacts on the rights of local homeowners and their enjoyment of their homes which will now be overlooked. The increase in the number of detainees from the original 130 to 600 will undoubtedly have a detrimental effect on the local area. This is a quiet residential area which will now be dominated by a building which is totally out of keeping with the area and very different in size from that previously there Traffic & Highway Safety: Increasing the facility's capacity to 600 detainees will severely strain local road networks, parking, and access routes. This is a quiet residential neighbourhood which will be severely impacted by the traffic increase. Environmental Impact: residents are already distressed by issues with contractor dust, littering, and construction debris affecting properties.Nuisance: Potential light pollution from proposed high-intensity perimeter floodlights and noise from emergency sirens. I also object that this project is being rushed through using the crown development route and not allowing residents a voice through their borough council. I do not wish to attend a hearing
