Increasing bed count by building a 3rd floor in the IRC Gosport will directly impact the local infrastructure. Currently the surrounding roads, Haslar road, fort road and clay hall road are in very bad shape with very big uneven bumps presenting direct risk of vehicle damage, that will only get worse with the increased traffic one the IRC opens, let alone with more than previously agreed. Parking on these roads is already tight and even in current state poses dangers on blind corners and infront of residential buildings. This WILL be far worse off. The increased height of the building will negatively impact the local areas beauty, a known and valued historical kandscape, and eyesore as it is, will only be worse, even visible from the solent. Local residents properties, privacy and home life will be hugely negatively impacted by this horrendous intrusion upon the community. With no garantees of safety for local people, if and when people are leaving the IRC, police presence is ridiculously low as it is. The unreasonable negative impact on gosport residents (local TAX payers) should not be CRIMINALLY ignored!
