The original proposal for 130 beds was exactly what the site was designed for. To increase to 600 beds with 3 storey high accommodation is not suitable for the location. Those living on Fort Road, will have their privacy ruined, their homes will drop in value and their lives changed for the worse. This is after the years of continuous building, noise pollution and increased traffic to bring the site up to what is proposed. Utterly shocking decision by central government. I do not wish to attend a hearing.
