The proposal to adopt this plan to allow immigrants to use Haslar detention centre to hold these people is totally irresponsible. I don’t care what the home office has to say it will. Just bring nothing but trouble to Gosport and possibly criminal activity. Also residents living next door to this detention centre will find their property will depreciate in value which is unfair. As Caroline Dinage has said we all have been hood winked over the development of this site . A better proposal would use the accomondtion blocks with in HMS Dolphin after all the young people of Gosport can’t even get on the council list for a home but the government can spend out providing homes for people that should not even be allowed to live here. With all I have said this project should go ahead but not for immigrants but for the homeless of our own county to have a decent beginning in life and not immigrants who just will cause a complete nuisance to locals and I totally object to the plans being proposed .
