Gosport Borough is a small town that already struggles to provide employment opportunities for the local residents of Gosport. It struggles to provide fundamental health, social care and other services to the residents of Gosport. Policing is even more limited, it is a proven fact that over the years and more so over the last few of them there has been a significant increase in crime, whether that is violent, sexual or other many have been instigated by the type of people you are looking to infiltrate our community with. If these plans go ahead to complete phase 2 let alone phase 3 then you are not only putting permanent residents at higher risk but also adding even more pressure on the vital services that we have. Will you be employing and paying for more police officers within the Borough to cope with the increased numbers of these people? Can you guarantee that these people will stayed enclosed 24/7 within the complex while they are being processed? Can you guarantee that the residents of Gosport will not have to adapt their beliefs, culture and community to meet the wants of these people? Can you guarantee the safety of all residents, especially women and children and no harm to them by these people? Are you willing to reimburse all those who are already losing money due to plans that the government have in place for this complex. Are you going to crate more employment opportunities and community services for people? The list of questions are endless. Do the government actually care about the impact of their actions has on the residents of Gosport? I would take a guess that all answers would be a NO. I have been born and bred here for well over half a century now and it was always a place that I used to proud to be a part of. However over the last few year it is barely recognisable due to the vast change in the demographic of the people that has already been filtered in within Gosport area. It now feels frightening, intimidating and scary most of the time, especially whilst out and about in the community. I live with fear not only for myself but also for my family members you g and old. I am left feeling like a prisoner in my own home most of the time, who now experiences high levels of anxiety due to the influx and impact these type of people have already imposed onto others lives. Gosport generally has always been a warm and welcoming place to live and thrive within with a real community spirit but most of this has been lost due to the changes already forced upon us. It is already at bursting point, with very long waiting lists for housing for those individuals who have been born and bred within Gosport, so looking at the possibly adding further numbers which we all know those who are approved from the facility will take priority over the locals who have been on that list for many, many years. Already vast amounts of tax payers money is given away to these people, their causes, their interests at the very cost of our British Citizen who are being left destitute, homeless and struggling to survive, monies you plan to plough into your vision of a three storey holding facility could be far better spent on the people who have worked hard and paid into that system all their working lives, they are the people that deserve to be listened too, views values as well as have the ability to live life with fear of loss or harm due to your plans to inundate and overwhelm the town with a three storey complex that the town and residents are not suitable for such a thing.
