As a local resident I object most strongly to the development of the Haslar Immigration Centre. Reasons include: • Influx of more people which Gosport cannot support. • The site and scale of this development is not in keeping with the historic area. • Severe traffic congestion on an already congested peninsular. • Pressure on local NHS facilities. Already struggle to get GP appointments and extremely long waiting lists at QA hospital. •Gosport is a deprived town since the MOD pulled out. This development will prevent regeneration of the Haslar peninsular.
