I strongly object to this proposal to increase capacity at Haslar IRC. This will have a massive impact on the local area,with the huge increase in vehicle movements on a dairy basis,causing major issues to the local area,which is already under pressure. The local residents feelings have not been taken into consideration at all, by a government department with no ties to the local area. Property values are being affected, especially with all the publicity,making it very difficult to sell properties close by,as attested to by local people trying to sell their houses. I fear the local infrastructure will not cope with increased traffic at these levels,so causing local problems beyond our control,just to meet governments targets. This is a disgrace to us local people.
