I have lived in gosport for a few good years now and I am not happy with the proposal for the following reasons 1. These detainees should not be housed in a built up area where there are young families and children 2. Gosport is under to much pressure for housing it's own residence and the Haslar upgrade should be headed towards them , not young foreign criminals. 3. There is not enough security to make the residents fell safe. 4. They are law breakers and should be deported ,straight away ,not housed in a detention centre that's not approved by the local Council let alone the residents. 5. The money being spent on this project is way to much for criminals and should be directed elsewhere on UK passport holding citizens not imagination criminals.
